The Paradox Digiplex EVOHD security alarm and access control system is a cost-effective solution for office, commercial and industrial buildings as well as luxury residential homes.
These systems are designed to be user-friendly, easy to install and easy to expand. Designed with the home and business owner in mind, the modular concept of these systems provides labour-saving features that make it an ideal solution for smaller-scale premises.
The Digiplex EVOHD is an integrated access control solution. The system user database can be used to manage and control access of up to 32 doors. The management software allows owners/managers to control users and access permissions.
Paradox has cleverly incorporated a video camera into a range of movement detectors and uses an on-board SD card to store video images. By connecting these new video cameras to the EVOHD control panel, owners/managers can easily verify the events that triggered an activation of the alarm system.
By merging security, access control and video verification, the Digiplex EVOHD uniquely increases the level of protection offered by security systems to a whole new level.
Security for your Home and Business
The EVOHD security system can protect up to 192 detection zones (areas), which is normally sufficient to fully protect most homes and business premises in New Zealand. We would be pleased to work with you to design a new security system that best suits your requirements. The list below describes the security equipment that we would normally install.
- Sirens and strobe lights (indoor and outdoor)
- Movement detectors to secure your living spaces, offices, yard, parking lot, and almost any other indoor or outdoor area that you choose to protect
- Magnetic reed switches for your doors and windows
- Keypads and touchscreens allow you to access and control your security system
- Smoke detectors connected to the security system
- Glass-break sensors
- Monitoring communicators
- Wireless detectors and hand-held remotes
Separate Areas, Separate Security
For both residential and commercial applications, the EVOHD can protect up to 8 separate partitioned areas. For example at home, provide round-the-clock security for your pool area to ensure children don’t wander in while you are not supervising and at the same time keep your house unarmed. Another example would be securing a separate building/shed 24/7 whilst the house is unarmed. And for example in a business environment, offices could be on one partition that is armed after normal working hours (say 8.00am to 5.30pm) whilst the Production area is on a second partition which operates working hours that are different from the Office, say 7.00am to 10.00pm each working day.
The separately partitioned areas would normally have their own separate PIN code. Having capacity for 8 partitions makes the EVOHD ideal for businesses with multiple sectors or departments and multi-tenanted homes where separate security is a must. This feature provides a easy, practical method of securing different areas of your business or home.
Combining Security with Access Control
The Paradox Digiplex EVOHD makes it easy to combine the usual security alarm features required by home and business owners with access control by incorporating them into one expandable control panel. The access control part of the EVOHD panel enables home and business owners to control who has access to their premises whether the security alarm system part is armed or not. The effect of this is to limit access to certain areas, disallow access to others or manage entire groups of people according to the owner’s permissions protocols. A summary of the features and benefits is listed below:
- Make your premises easily accessible to family and staff and at the same time inaccessible to all others
- Track authorised users who enter your premises
- Print detailed reports of access control activities
- Arm and disarm your security system
